MISSION STATEMENT
To work alongside community stakeholders and authorities to ensure the Eora/Sydney rave scene revives, survives, and thrives, and to advance the rights of ravers whilst spreading the movement’s message of good music, inclusivity, and universality.
CURRENT ACTIVITIES
During winter 2023, our focus is on the recent epidemic of shutdowns and early closures of events by authorities, and occasionally by venues themselves. Shutdowns and early closures are devastating to all members of the rave community. We are currently focusing our energy on communicating and liaising with local authorities and venues to foster a mutual understanding of our goals, and work together to prevent such shutdowns and closures from occurring in the future.
We are also focusing our energy on saving beloved institutions on the Sydney scene which are going through a difficult time at the moment. Some of these venues have been stalwarts of the scene for decades. We are communicating with local authorities, including police, and MPs, in order to show our strong support. We are also gathering statements of support from all members of the community.
If you would like to assist us in these activities, please contact us at any time. Do stay tuned for upcoming petitions and a call for statements in support of local venues in need.
Please note, this website is under construction and has been designed on and for desktop. A more functional mobile version is being developed. Social media pages will be created shortly and will be the first point of contact.
